Introduction by Todd Karr
Created by Todd Karr in 1981, Magicians’ Gallery was designed as both a historic gallery of contemporary magicians and as an autograph album. First introduced at the Abbott’s Magic Get-Together and sold behind Abbott’s dealer table in the old gymnasium, this little booklet is still being carried around to magic conventions worldwide in quest of signatures from the featured magicians.
This booklet also marked Todd Karr’s first official published work, released in Southfield, Michigan, under the company name of Pleasure Carrot Publications. The typesetting was professionally prepared at The Graphics Factory in Royal Oak, Michigan, and the cover was custom-designed by Dubois Advertising.
