Back in 1996, The Miracle Factory was founded in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where our first release was a much-praised thread-dispensing device for walkaround close-up levitation and animation effects.
Todd Karr designed the device and employed it in his thread miracles in his close-up engagements in Paris and Monte Carlo in some of Europe’s most elegant venues including the Casino de Monte Carlo, the Monte Carlo Sporting Club, and the Princess Grace Theatre, performing for Monaco’s royal family and top celebrities.
The thread-preparation and handling advice in this booklet are valuable techniques and insights that will apply to any thread work, effect, or animation.
